At times, it is necessary for you to recharge your cigar humidor. This is a very important part of the cigar humidor maintenance process. You would maintain this by adding an activation solution every couple of months as needed. There is an entire process that is involved in doing this and you should see the instructions that are included when you buy the solution. Finally, you should test the calibration on occasion to make sure that it is testing out okay. If you do find that it is off, there is typically a way to adjust the hygrometer in order to bring it back into alignment.
Taking good care of your humidor is just one way of taking good care of your cigars. If you are in the habit of buying fine cigars, make sure that you are able to enjoy each and every one of them.
